SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION PRINT RELEASE

I’m happy to announce the special limited edition print release of For the Time Being.

This large scale commissioned project defined last year in many ways. It was an honor to be chosen by Penn State Hospital to produce a painting for what would become the meditation room at their new state of the art Hampden Medical Campus in Enola, Pennsylvania. I’m also very thankful to the team at Aesthetics, Inc who curated the art collection and commissioned regional artists.

Art in pubic spaces can contribute to the greater good by establishing and affirming a connection among a diverse assembly of people while granting solace, restoration, and peace to those in need. Art in a hospital or health care facility has the distinct honor and responsibility of serving a purpose greater than decoration— and that is to stand in companionship with visitors and staff as they navigate innumerable stresses and crises. The space that surrounds them should reflect their aspirations to heal and resonate with images and energies that conjure and maintain a healing frequency.

I hope visitors find a quiet moment of clarity in this room while trying to cope with the circumstances that brought them to the hospital. Evolving from traditional ‘chapels’ to non-denominational spaces to reflect and find peace is a positive step forward from Penn State Hospital and one I hope other hospitals follow.

All come signed and numbered as shown in the photos below. The image size is 8 x 24 inches and the overall paper is 12 x 28 inches. Once they’re sold out, they’re gone forever.
